No tenim cara, o potser no ens reconeixem en la nostra veritable cara \u2014en l&#8217;abs\u00e8ncia de cara.<\/p>\n<p>El m\u00f3n objectual \u2014l&#8217;hum\u00e0 fet objecte, l&#8217;objecte antropomorfitzat, la substituci\u00f3 d&#8217;objectes est\u00e0tics en el camp \u00f2ptic\u2014 no ser\u00e0 l&#8217;\u00fanic centre de la visi\u00f3 de Max Ernst. La poderosa pres\u00e8ncia del m\u00f3n natural, en un sistema de contagis, de flux i reflux, de vasos comunicants, presidir\u00e0 la regi\u00f3 potser m\u00e9s torbadora d&#8217;aquesta obra.<\/p>\n<p>\u00c9s el pa\u00eds dels boscos nocturns, sumptuosos com acer fos i glacial, o bategants en les sinuositats carn\u00edvores de la vida vegetal i el crepitar d&#8217;antenes i el llampeguejar d&#8217;ulls de b\u00e8sties i d&#8217;insectes.<\/p>\n<p>\u00c9s tamb\u00e9 el pa\u00eds de les ciutats sagrades, com en una momificaci\u00f3 resseca, altar de pedra i de metall al disc lunar o a les claredats d&#8217;alqu\u00edmia del sol en el cel nu i buit.
